The Associated Press is reporting that the looser of the 2020 Presidential election, President Donald Trump, would have to pay $7.9 million to conduct a statewide recount in Wisconsin, which he lost by over 20,000 votes.
The cost is reportedly is four times more expensive than it was four years ago due to “conducting a recount during the coronavirus pandemic.”
If trump handled the pandemic better, he could have saved money on the recount. Maybe that fact would make him rethink his pandemic response. But probably not, because one, facts don’t matter for #45. and two, the chance of Trump paying nearly $8 million dollar for a loosing recount effort is zero.
